The Breitling Avenger range epitomises the aesthetic of Breitling and is always instantly recognisable. From the mighty 48,4mm Super Avenger II, the more accessible Avenger II at 43mm, to the 3000m Avenger II Seawolf and the elegant and functional Avenger II GMT, the range offers sports watches with style and class leading fit and finish throughout.
There are far too many watch/car collaborations on the market that have no significance or relevance. However, the high-end class leading Breitling for Bentley range has unique integrity because it is inspired by the joint three year venture of Bentley and Breitling in 2001 with the aspirations of winning the torturous Le Mans 24 hour race. The brands were successful in 2003 as overall winners, mirroring the accomplishments of the original Bentley Boys in the 1920s. Each timepiece has inspired aesthetic touches from the luxury car manufacturer's vehicles, including dial colours from the Bentley paint swatch.
The Chronomat was first introduced by Breitling in 1941 and has remained a flagship timepiece in the catalogue. It was the first wrist watch with a circular slide rule calculator and was the inspiration for the Navitimer, introduced in 1952. Re-introduced in the early 1990s it established itself as a Breitling best seller. The latest iteration was introduced in 2009 to showcase Breitlings class leading B01 in-house calibre. With its many unique functions the Breitling Chronomat range is as beautiful to behold as it is sophisticated.
The Superocean II is Breitlings contemporary dive watch with high levels of water resistance and incredible legibility. The true professional divers timepiece, boasting levels of water resistance up to 2000m. Available in multiple dial colours including the ever popular Breitling Coral Orange. Ladies and Gents versions of this ever-popular utilitarian timepiece are available.
The Colt range has long been Breitlings more accessible range of timepieces. However, there is no "entry level" Breitling. All Breitling Colts are manufactured with the same materials, movements and finishing techniques as the rest of the Breitling catalogue. The latest models offer a perfect mix of exceptional Chronometer rated movements, hermetically sealed cases and scratch resistant sapphire glass to offer the perfect everyday watch. A great combination of sport and elegance.
The Breitling Galactic range is for those that rely on the dependability of the Breitling name to give them world leading accuracy and fit and finish in a timepiece that is also truly elegant. Each watch is polished to perfection to offer incredible beauty. The Galactic range is the only family of Breitling timepieces to offer a watch designed from scratch by ladies for ladies, the incredibly beautiful and popular Galactic 29.
The Montbrillant is proudly named after the street where the original Breitling manufacturing facility was based, Montbrillant Strasse. To this end there is an inherent class and style associated with the montbrillant range. Now home to the incredible B01 in-house movement, the Montbrillant remains one of the most beautifully classic watches in the Breitling catalogue.
By virtue of being introduced in 1952, at the bequest of AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) the Breitling Navitimer is the longest running catalogue Chronograph model for any brand ever. Utilising the ingenious circular sliderule bezel, first introduced on the Chronomat in 1941, the Navitimer is still the wristwatch choice for professional, recreational and aspirational pilots the world over. Often imitated but never bettered, the Navitimer is often regarded as one of the must-have pieces for any serious watch collection.
The Breitling Professional range includes all watches that incorporate movements with complications (anything above and beyond temporal information). These include the breathtaking 51mm, all Titanium, Emergency II, that houses a PLB (Personal Location Beacon), the Cockpit B50, with the world leading multi-function movement, the Exospace B55, with the same in-house movement as the B50 but with mobile phone connectivity and the stalwart of the collection, the Aerospace Evo, which has been utilised more than any other timepiece for our military projects.
Breitling introduced their first divers watch in 1957, the Superocean. This is perfectly recalled, aesthetically, in the Superocean Heritage range. Available with in-house three hand and chronograph movements, there is also a chronometer rated ETA based chronograph at a more affordable price point. All Heritage models come with a scratch resistant bezel, perfectly marrying the classic styling with best materials available today.
The original Breitling Transocean was first introduced as a manual wind chronograph in the 1950s. Taking inspiration from this elegant, yet functional, design the new Transocean is available with Breitlings class leading B01 movement, as a three hand day-date, and also as a 38mm chronograph. for those that desire something smaller but with the same appeal. The already stunning 38mm version can be embellished with diamonds and precious materials.
When any watch brand decides to create a new line of timepieces, named after a collection that originally perfectly captured that era, they risk creating something that may not do justice to that name. However, Breitling have created the perfect homage to the original Premier watches of the 1940s with what is, arguably, their most elegant watch collection to date. However, functionality has not be forsaken with two chronographs and a daydate all available in this beautiful range of watches. Aesthetic cues include the box sapphire glass and the inscribed, art-deco-esque, lines incorporated into the case sides.
The Breitling watch company was founded in 1884 by Leon Breitling in St Imier, Switzerland. He set out to create high accuracy chronographs for professionals, in particular Aviators. Constantly innovating throughout their history, with the first ever chronograph with separate pusher and the first ever dual pusher chronograph, Breitling have always remained at the highest level of utilitarian timepieces.
Breitling are one of only a very few brands who offer a chronometer certificate from the COSC (third party accuracy test) for all of their watches, including their proprietary Superquartz©. Synonymous with aviation watches, since being asked to create the first wristwatch for AOPA, Breitling now create watches for many professions and individuals requiring accurate, reliable and robust timekeepers. The eclectic range of trustworthy, high end timepieces within the catalogue offer practical, fit-for-purpose style and incorporate useful and impressive specifications to offer wearable luxury for any discerning watch lover.
